Information Collected

When someone sends an inquiry through the contact form, Main Street Advisory collects the information entered: name, email address, company name, primary area of concern, industry, and any message. The form also records which page of the website it was sent from, the first page the visitor viewed on the site, and the name of the website that linked to it, if any. If the visitor arrived through a link from an advertisement, social media post, or email campaign, the form also records the campaign details carried in that link, such as the campaign name. The same applies to information sent by email.

How Information Is Used

Main Street Advisory uses inquiry information only to read and respond to the inquiry. Main Street Advisory does not sell personal information.

Service Providers

Inquiries are stored in HubSpot, the system Main Street Advisory uses to manage and respond to inquiries (HubSpot privacy policy). Website use is measured with Google Analytics, described below. The website’s fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives a visitor’s IP address when a page loads (Google privacy policy).

Analytics and Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. Google Analytics sets cookies in the visitor’s browser to do this. When the contact form is sent, Google Analytics records that an inquiry was made and from which page. It does not receive anything typed into the form. The website also keeps the first-page, linking-site and campaign details described above in the visitor’s browser (local storage) for up to 90 days. Those details are not sent anywhere unless the contact form is sent, and they are never sent to Google Analytics. Cookies and local storage can be blocked or cleared through browser settings.
